Lord of the Ocean slots review.
Lord of the Ocean slot machine may be a slot machine that you play in a rather small window on your PC, but it certainly doesn’t manage to skimp out on its overall jackpot. Especially not when you take into consideration that the multiplier can go all the way up to X 5000; leaving you with a pretty penny of £250,000! Now there is a number I definitely would not mind having entered my bank account!
Now, while it is all well and good playing through the Lord of the Ocean slot game, hoping for that grand prize, not everyone’s luck is the same, especially not my own. The amount of time I spent on the slot machine varied greatly. My reason being is that the first time I played through it, I went a little more cautious, and kept my roll rate below £2. However, on returning to the game, I decided a more drastic approach should be taken, at the very least to see how my luck pans out, and unless you play smart, that cash can quickly find its way gone. That doesn’t come as too much of a surprise when you can alternate your rolls from being nothing more than a penny or have them go all the way up to £500 per roll.
I can’t honestly say with good conscience that my time was wasted on the game, however. The overall experience of playing the slot machine was fun, easy to get to grips with, and depending on how big you decided to set your stakes, the payouts weren’t half bad either.

Lord of the Ocean free spins & Gate symbols.
Within the slot machine itself, it has 5 reels for you to enjoy, with a maximum of 10 winning lines to make your pay-out that more likely. Obviously, if you’re not too careful with your winning lines, you’ll quickly be burning through your plays. What I did personally find nice about the winning lines is that they very distinctly colour-coordinate them for you whenever you’re increasing or decreasing the number.
Each one has a different colour linked to them, and clearly displays where each one of these lines are applied, a feature I’m very pleased about. On top of all this, the numbers of the winning lines show up on both the left and right side of the screen, so if you’re concerned about forgetting just how many of these lines you have up, the game makes sure to keep you in the loop of how much you’re spending.
Inside Lord of the Ocean slot there are symbols known as “Gate symbols”, and once you get 3 or more of these on your current winning bet lines, then you will be rewarded with 10 free games. Once you’ve earned the bonus, your pay-out and winning lines are locked in, meaning that you can’t increase your chances of winning. As much as we would all like to do such a thing, we aren’t allowed, for good reasons!
Stacked Wilds & Lord of the Ocean slots RTP.
The jackpot inside Lord of the Ocean slot machine is not one that is considered progressive, because the jackpot for any and all players is locked at £250,000 with that number not ever changing. The Lord of the Ocean slot RTP % is estimated at around 95.10%, a number I’m very pleased to see! Unfortunately, from what I’ve seen with my time at the machine, it isn’t, in fact, both ways machine. While you can claim a win from having icons line up in diagonals; when it comes from going right to left it doesn’t apply the same effect.
From the ways the reels have played out during my time with this particular slot machine, it doesn’t appear to have any particular reels implemented. Instead, it seems to stick to the more traditional sense, which is whenever you win a nice, little pay-out, symbols stay in the same position that you had won from; rather than disappearing or making room for new symbols to fall down; a feature that has increased in popularity in slot machines from IGT with the so-called “Stacked Wilds” like in Siberian Storm slot or the Cascading Reels from NetEnt found in Gonzo’s Quest slot.
Moving onto the actual symbols themselves, the ones that are involved in Lord of the Ocean slots are a personal favourite of mine: wild symbols! These symbols allow for you to make up a row of 4 of any consistent symbol, as well as a gate symbol, and it will act as if it is the fifth symbol in the winning line.
For the most part, these symbols don’t have any particular attributes, at least until you get 3 or more gate symbols.
Once they’ve shown up, not only are you given 10 free wins as I had mentioned before, but you also gain access to an expanding symbol; one that slowly grows on your screen, giving you the chance to earn even more!
Lord of the Ocean slot game honestly isn’t the most visually impressive slot machine I’ve ever come in contact with, but it does a number of little touches that I definitely do appreciate as a player. If you manage to get a win with icons that depict Poseidon or a Mermaid, they will proceed to show off a nice, little animation; one that is just rare enough to not be considered boring or dull.

Going back to animations, while it is a bit of a shame that the background and whatnot have no animations, reverting to a still image to appease you, the slot machine spins themselves do not disappoint.
There’s nothing I detest more when a slot machine has slow or choppy animations that are tied to its spin. Thankfully, as soon as you hit the spin button, the animation plays and sticks to a fluid animation up until the point it stops. Now that there is something no slot machine should be without!
I can understand that some players enjoy the fact they need to hit the spin button for every single play, yet Lord of the Ocean slot appeases to both those players and myself: someone who likes to automate my spins. There’s an autoplay feature for you to use and enjoy and gives you the parameters to set a number of rounds you want to spin a loss limit, and a single win amount at where you would like it to stop. It’s not a feature you just turn on and forget about, leaving a very happy player knowing that when they come back, regardless of how well or poorly they’ve done; they themselves set it to a limit they were comfortable with, something I was definitely happy with doing.
Overall, Lord of the Ocean slots doesn’t score major points for its overall visual stylings, but the theme itself of underwater seems to fit just fine. More importantly, however, it has a number of features and elements that you would want to see in your slot machine, and even features a jackpot prize of £250,000!
It does have to be said, I’ve enjoyed my overall time with this slot machine, and it certainly won’t be one I’ll be forgetting about any time soon.
